On Monday evening during Italy’s 1-0 Nations League win in the Netherlands, the 21-year-old tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
He needs surgery was assumed on Wednesday after he underwent tests in Rome to confirm the diagnosis early Tuesday morning.
But Zaniolo has decided to take a few days before he goes under the knife in agreement with his club medical staff.
It is reported that in January Villa Stuart clinic patched his right knee and now he is considering another venue and surgeon, says Football Italia.
