Neymar was worried about getting wounded in a prep match

In Waasland-Beveren’s 7-0 friendly rout, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar was concerned about getting hurt as the Ligue 1 holders moved up their quarter-final homework for the Champions League.

Reflecting on the result, Neymar was questioned about Waasland-Beveren’s violent disposition and he told beIN SPORTS (via Goal): “Yes, we were a little afraid. We’re here for a friendly match so that those sorts of stuff wouldn’t have occurred.”

“We’re here to get ready but also to be alert. Yet we still gave them back a little bit and there are no concerns.”

Neymar added: “I was really glad to come back to play at home, with some friends as well. We’re training little by little to get to the full and we’re going to be in the Champions League finals.”
