Victor Osimhen will sign for Napoli over the next 48 hours, as the issue has always been with his lawyer, who now threatens to sue the Lille striker, sources tell Football Italia.
There will be final talks in Sardinia today and tomorrow to secure the contract, worth about €81 m, says various sources like L’Equipe.
The Corriere Dello Sport maintains that it will be €50 m in cash plus full-back Adam Ounas to cover the difference.
Sources close Osimhen confirm the problem that caused him to turn Napoli down last week was with his entourage and smoothed over by a new intermediary’s arrival.
The previous agent was trying to negotiate additional bonuses for himself rather than focusing on the player’s best deal, as RAI Sport and CalcioNapoli24 also report – those same sources confirmed.
The agent will be sacked and is now in danger of suing Osimhen.
Radio Punto Nuovo also states that Osimhen has joined negotiations on the yacht of Lille President Gerard Lopez off the Sardinian coast.
On Thursday he will have his medical with Napoli according to all accounts.
