Jose Mourinho compared his current club Tottenham with Real Madrid, which he headed from 2010 to 2013.
“In Real Madrid, I had amazing, incredible attacking players, and we managed to build a team. I must be honest and say that in “Tottenham good players of the attack group is gathered, but they need stability. You need to play confidently in defense. We need to find a balance. Let’s say that this is a team issue, this does not apply to individual players,” Mourinho said on Monday Night Football.
“We must be able to act well, having all these attacking players in the squad, as well as act in defense in an organized manner, not giving extra space to the opponent. And then, we still have to improve some details – this is obvious.”
“Look at our squad, at the incredible qualities of the players, statistics and options both in the midfield and in the attack. We are trying to find solutions and at the same time act in an organized manner.”
