Son Heung-min, Tottenham forward is expected to be out for some time due to a hamstring injury, according to Jose Mourinho.
At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League draw with Newcastle United, the South Korea international was replaced at half-time.
After Wilson scored from the place head coach Mourinho walked down the tunnel, later said to reporters Son’s injury was not insignificant.
“It’s an injury. We’ll have him out for a while. It’s his hamstring,” Mourinho said after the game.
“Tottenham is a major club. Our history is not as big as other clubs in terms of titles and I know I’m coaching with a lot of pride and affection.”
“I love the club and I love being here. I don’t see myself going to another club and leaving because I love it too much, but now I know the distinction between clubs with a great history and not.”
