Arsene Wenger former Arsenal manager published a new autobiography this week titled “My Life In Red And White.”
English journalists immediately noticed that the Frenchman did not mention Jose Mourinho, one of his biggest rivals in his career, in his book.
Mourinho was asked to comment on Wenger’s book at a press conference ahead of the match between Tottenham and West Ham on Sunday.
“Of course he didn’t mention me when he never beat me. You’re not going to put a chapter in the book about a person you’ve never won in 14 games. The book is something that should make you proud and happy so that move is completely clear to me,” he said. Mourinho.
On and off the field he and Wenger have histories of conflict while Jose was Chelsea’s manager. They played a total of 19 times and Wenger won only two games, which Mourinho overlooked. The Portuguese recorded ten wins and seven matches ended in a draw.
In the 2014 game, they had the biggest conflict when they pushed along the out-line and Mourinho then called Wenger a failure specialist.
