Messi doesn’t want to rush into decision of his future

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi’s contract with the club expires in the summer of 2021, and the future still remains uncertain.

Right now, the Argentine does not want to be distracted as he intends to show his best football.

According to Goal, the 33-year-old footballer, as well as his representatives, has not contacted any club about a possible move. 

Last summer the forward wanted to leave Barca and submitted a transfer request, which was not granted. Manchester City and PSG are considered to be the main candidates for Messi.

Messi believes there is no need to rush into a decision about his future. There is no information about the player’s future plans. The situation will become clearer when he makes a statement on the matter.
