Mbappe provides update on PSG future

A little while ago Kylian Mbappe has beaten a 63-year-old record of Just Fontaine by netting 4 goals for the national team in France’s match against Kazakhstan. Mbappe has also completed five extraordinary years at Paris Saint-Germain and provided an obscure update on his future.

Kylian Mbappe has remained tight-lipped about his future at Paris Saint-Germain, saying only that he has loved his time there and that he is ‘here this season.’ The 22-year-old French international is in the final year of his contract at Parc des Princes and was highly linked with a summer football transfer to Real Madrid. He has so far been unable to reach an agreement on a new contract, and if one is not reached by January 1, he will be free to speak to other teams.

Reporting football news TNT Brasil asked Mbappe about his future after France’s 8-0 the thrashing of Kazakhstan on Saturday, in which he became the first player for Les Bleus to score four goals in a game since Just Fontaine in 1958. “I have spent five extraordinary years here, I have taken advantage of every moment and I continue to do so. I am happy both on the pitch and in my personal life,” Mbappe said

“Now there are many things, great challenges and I have already spoken about that.” When pushed for a definitive answer about where he will be playing his football beyond this year, Mbappe replied: “I’m here, I’m still here, I’m here this season.”
