Mauricio Pochettino: Kylian Mbappe substitution was just a precaution

Mauricio Pochettino provided an optimistic update after PSG fans were understandably concerned when Kylian Mbappe was substituted against Lyon.

According to Mauricio Pochettino, in Paris Saint-Germain’s win over Lyon, Kylian Mbappe was substituted as a precaution after twisting his ankle.

However, following the game, head coach Pochettino addressed the media to allay worries about the situation.

“The Kylian Mbappe substitution was just a precaution. He had a knock, a twisted ankle,” Pochettino said.
