Nemanja Matic called for consistency, following Manchester United’s unimpressive start to the 2020-21 season, but noted that “no team will win every game.”
“I always like to think that the team competing for the title would always have five or six games to run before you lose a few points, that’s normal, no team can win every game,” the Serbian midfielder told the official website of United.
“In the first round, we’ve already lost some points at home, so now we need to make a streak of winning, winning, winning, winning five or six games and then we’ll have a chance to win some trophies. That’s how we finished last season, exactly.”
“We know what we’ve done well and we have to practice it and try to repeat it again so that we can go through the next games with more optimism and more confidence.”
