Martin Braithwaite inherited the Luis Suarez jersey in Barcelona

Martin Braithwaite officially received the No.9 jersey in Barcelona after the departure of Luis Suarez.

Suarez made a € 6 million (£5m/$7 m) move to Atletico Madrid from Barca on September 23, bringing a hugely productive stay at Camp Nou to the end.

Uruguayan ended up leaving the club in a controversial way, receiving 13 trophies on his hands and scored a total of 198 goals in 283 matches during his time in Barcelona.

Despite the fact that the Denmark forward already has to appear for Barca in 2020-21, the jersey that Suarez instantly made his own since joining the Liverpool club in 2014 was passed down to Braithwaite.
