Manchester United will provide Anthony Martial tight security after death threats

Manchester United has offered Anthony Martial to help him secure his home, the Daily Mail reports.

For the Frenchman, the club has raised safety concerns following racist abuse directed at him on social media.

This has been prompted, among other things, by the fact that Martial’s wife has been receiving death threats on social media against her and her husband.

Man Utd is assumed to achieve the same protective scenario and beef up security as in the case of club vice-president Ed Woodward when his home was attacked by fans.

In recent times, Marcus Rashford and Axel Tuanzebe, Chelsea defender Rhys James and West Bromwich player Romaine Sawyers have also faced racism on social media.
