Soon after Manchester United experienced a cyber-attack on their operating infrastructure last week, the club is hopeful that their internal IT will be recovered.
United has been supported by the National Data Security Center, with the club working to ensure that the network is safe before switching it back on. In the meantime, as with certain other activities, email is not open to workers.

According to The Guardian, an NCSC spokesperson said: “The NCSC is aware of an incident affecting Manchester United football club and we are working with the organization and partners to understand the impact.”
