Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford scored the goals for Manchester United, who came from behind to defeat relegation-threatened Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 in the Premier League.
With a deserving first-half goal for Brighton at Old Trafford, Danny Welbeck came back to haunt United on Sunday.
Rashford marked his return with a well-taken equalizer and second-place finisher United stepped up their game after the break.
In the absence of Anthony Martial, who may be out for the season with a knee injury, Greenwood went home the winner seven minutes from time to surprise the Seagulls.
After the result, the Red Devils are placed second, 14 points behind leading Manchester City with a game in hand, while Brighton remained six points clear of the relegation zone.
