Mahrez on beating PSG
Riyad Mahrez who scored both the goals for the winning team as shared his opinions on reaching the Champions League finals, where the team will face Real Madrid or Chelsea in Istanbul on 26th May.
“That was a very good game. We got off to a bad start. We were not very good in the first half but we managed to score and felt good,” Mahrez said to BBC. “In the second half we were able to play better. We could have scored more goals. The opponents lost their nerve, but after the suspension we became complacent.”

“Playing on the counterattack was not part of our plan, but the opponents had to go forward. Perhaps at times we acted a little deeper and on the counterattack we proved ourselves. That’s how we scored two goals. We are happy.”
We did it. 💪🏾 Congratulations to everyone in the club. Let's keep pushing, there's a lot of work ahead. What a birthday party I had today. THANK YOU ALL 💙 pic.twitter.com/gV3Lwi8Vtw

Kyle Walker comments on win over PSG
“For a guy from Sheffield, it’s a dream come true. To make it come true, I really ploughed on. Against top-class players, you had to squeeze the impossible out of yourself. John [Stones], Ruben [Dias], Alex [Zinchenko] were overpowering everyone all the time. We managed to fulfill our talents,” Walker told UEFA official website.
“Football is a team game and everyone has his own task. For us, the defenders, it is to keep the goal locked up. We are doing a great job this season. For me, blocking a shot is akin to scoring a goal.”
