Four matches were played and three matches ended in convincing victories in the round of 16 of the English Carabao Cup.
Manchester City easily defeated Burnley away 3: 0. Two goals were scored by Raheem Sterling, and the pass was confirmed by Ferran Torres in the 65th minute of the match.

Newcastle struggled the most, knocking out Newport’s four-league team only after a penalty. The regular part of the match ended 1: 1.
