Macedonia boss Igor: boys made our nation proud

North Macedonia head coach Igor Angelovski has spoken out on the 2-1 victory over Germany in the third round match of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

“The boys made our nation proud by beating the four-time world champions and three-time European champions. Our team is our hero, they have brought joy to the country,” UEFA press service quotes Angelovski as saying.

“We have never beaten a team with so many titles. I am happy to work with these players, congratulations to them. Now we need to rest, it’s not over yet. This victory is for the whole nation.”
