Lyon agreed on Arsenal offer for Aouar

Arsenal is targeting midfielder Houssem Aouar in the current transfer window but Lyon’s financial requests impede the signing of this promising football player. 

Arsenal wanted to include its midfielder Matteo Guendouzi in a swap deal for the 22-year-old Frenchman, but Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirms the information that Lyon rejected the offer of the North London club.

Lyon is not interested in the exchange of any players and intends to get 60 million euros from the sale of Aouar. 

At the same time, the Frenchman himself is interested in continuing his career in the English Premier League, and the Gunners highly appreciate his abilities.

Hence in order to sign Houssem Aouar, Arsenal is expected to pay the mentioned sum.
