The newly-signed Diogo Jota made his first Liverpool goal on Monday examining that Jurgen Klopp admitted that he had been chasing the Portuguese star for many years.
Before scoring the former Wolves player created a range of opportunities in his short time. This impressed Klopp who confirmed that it is that skill set that has drawn him to Jota for many years.
“I’m so happy with Diogo Jota. Top, top guy,” Klopp told to BBC.
“A team like ours is too hard to improve. He’s been on my radar for two or three years. He’s finally here.”
That’s Jota’s second Liverpool match, after debuting midweek in the Carabao Cup against Lincoln City.
