According to the reports of German Bild, Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara is moving ahead for his transfer from Bayern to Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to have the Spaniard in their ranks, but both the clubs have not yet reached on a mutual decision for the amount of compensation, Bild claims.
Bayern has priced-tagged the 29-year-old for a sum of 40 million euros but the Premier League champions are ready to pay the amount at which Alcantara arrived at Bayern from Barcelona in 2013 for 25 million euros. Despite the wishes of the German champions, he did not agree to continue the service of his contract with Bayern for another season.
Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in early July, “We have negotiated with him, but he seems to want something else.”
In seven seasons, he has won seven German championship titles, four Cups, three German Super Cups, and one club World Cup. He scored 31 goals in 231 appearances for the Bavarian giants.
