Leon Goretzka on crushing Lazio: We made a good step today

Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka has shared his impression after the first leg of the Champions League 1/8 final against Lazio (4-1).

“We got into the game well. It was important because in the previous games we got off to a good start. We were aggressive from the very first minutes and kept the game under control,” said Goretzka to official website of the club.

“We intercepted the ball high, which allowed us to be closer to the opponents’ goal. That’s what made us so strong last season. We made it our goal to go back to that tactic. We made a good step today.”
