Leon Bailey revealed why he named his son Leo Cristiano

Leon Bailey, Bayer’s midfielder opened up on why he decided to name his son Leo Cristiano. 

“It has nothing to do with football, it has nothing to do with me and my name. Leo is short for Leon. And Leo is a lion, and I am a lion,” he told Bild.

“I’m sure that my son will also grow up to be a leader and will never give up. And Cristiano is just a beautiful name that goes well with Leo.”
