Leicester made an offer for Trincao to Barcelona

Reportedly, Francisco Trincao – Barcelona winger has emerged as Leicester City’s surprise transfer target.

In a deal worth €31 million (£27.99 million), Barca has agreed to sign the Braga prospect, this was announced by the La Liga giants in January.

The 20-year-old has spent the rest of the campaign in Portugal and is now due to feature in next season’s first-team squad in Barcelona.

However, Leicester has offered the Catalan giants a chance to make a quick profit on the attacker, according to The Guardian.

If Foxes can sign Trincao on a two-year loan at first, they are willing to commit to a £45m deal, the report claims.

Barcelona is expected to acknowledge a sale only if the likes of Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele can not be released.
