In a £30m deal Premier League pace-setters Leicester City have finished signing of Saint-Etienne young defender Wesley Fofana.
With news that Leicester is paying for Marseille-born Fofana in about £ 30 million ($39 million), the French side announced that the move will be the biggest deal in its history, earlier in the week.
On Friday Leicester made it known that the contract with the 19-year-old to England has now been signed.
Fofana told the official website of Leicester: “I’m very pleased to be here. Since they won the title, I’ve been watching Leicester City closely and they’re a top Premier League team.”
“I know that I’ll be learning a lot here from the players and the manager, and that is one of the key reasons I came here. I can’t wait to start.”
