Leicester City is leading the role to sign Bournemouth winger David Brooks, ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester United, according to reports.
After their relegation to the Championship, the versatile 23-year-old was tipped to leave Bournemouth. He plays comfortably on either wing or central midfield.
Brooks missed most of 2019-20 due to a long-term injury, but he returned after the coronavirus shut down and did not take long to regain his form.
This summer it is rumored that Brooks made contact with Bournemouth, and United showed interest in him before he injured his ankle last year.
However, the Manchester Evening News, reports that Leicester is now considered to be the frontrunners for signing Brooks as it is willing to make a Wales international offer.
Leicester starts their 2020-21 campaign on Sunday with a trip to West Bromwich Albion and finished fifth last season in the Premier League.
