The Aquile Stars are not persuaded by Lazio President Claudio Lotito’s planned pay cuts for March and April.
Biancocelesti’s patron has conveyed a possible depletion in players’ salaries at the Olimpico, but the players did not welcome the idea, claimed Il Messaggero.
Until Serie A resumes, Lotito plans to deduct its wages for the months of March and April and will call for a similar strategy for the months of May and June.
The players did not respond well to the letter, but with Captain Senad Lulic currently in Switzerland, the meeting would only be a preliminary one, according to the Roman newspaper.
