If Inter striker Lautaro Martinez goes to Barcelona, he ‘would have to sacrifice himself’, thinks Argentine retired player Lionel Scaloni.
In recent months with a transfer to the Catalan giants, the 22-year-old has been linked and according to the Argentina coach the most crucial thing for the former Racing Club sensation is to ‘play regularly.’
“I want Lautaro Martinez to play regularly, but since he’s young and plays for the others too, he should gain a place in the squad,” Scaloni told Radio La Red.
To claim a starting place at Camp Nou, Lautaro would have to lay down the initiative said Scaloni.
“He has to self-sacrifice. The coach must find a way to make him a player if he wants to get to Barcelona.”
