Lampard about Abramovich: we have a close relationship without daily or weekly communication

Head coach of Chelsea, Frank Lampard talked on his relationship with the club’s owner, Roman Abramovich.

“I would say that we have a close relationship without daily or weekly communication. I feel support from afar, but it’s very direct and obvious, and that’s how I try to get it back to him,” said Lampard in an interview with Alan Shearer.

“If I comment on our performance, I speak directly. Whether it’s good or bad, I think it’s the right policy to communicate with someone at this level.”

“Abramovich is a person who achieves his goals. Without that, it is impossible to achieve his position.”
