Adam Lallana will miss out on Liverpool’s final match of the season this weekend at Newcastle United, since having entered talks with Graham Potter he appears to finalize a move.
Regarding the midfielder’s exit from Liverpool, Brighton has started to emerge as frontrunners to sign Adam, The Telegraph reports.
The 32-year-old arrived at Merseyside six years ago and now is going on a free transfer Bosman contract, as a Premier League, world and European champion.
“There are parts of me that are curious for my next challenge,” said Lallana.
“I’m close to realizing what’s happening so there’s a mixture of emotions really at the moment.”
“It’s disappointing I won’t have an opportunity to really say goodbye (to the fans), but I’m fairly sure I’ll be back at Anfield and hunting for three points against them.”
“I’m sure they’ll give me a warm welcome so it’ll be great to say goodbye properly so I’m sure this will be next season at some point.”
