Koke: we didn’t take advantage of our chances

Atletico captain Koke has clarified after the first leg of the Champions League 1/8 final against Chelsea (0-1).

“It was a difficult match. We tried to stick to our game plan, but we didn’t take advantage of our chances. Now we just have to think about winning the return game. Today it looked like the difference in the classes of the teams was quite insignificant, but everything was decided by the only fantastic shot,” said Koke to UEFA official website.

“We go to London with the idea of winning. We will bounce back from defeat. It has been a tough week, but we will keep fighting. We understand what is going on in the world and we have to adapt to the conditions. If we score two away goals, we will move on.”
