Klopp on the 4-1 with Aston Villa’s youngsters: The young lads have played really well, we had our problems

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has reviewed the FA Cup 3rd round match against Aston Villa (4-1).

“The young lads have played really well – that’s good,” Klopp told BT Sport as per BBC.

“We had our problems. It took us a bit longer but in the end it was obvious.”

“We had problems with passing, movement, not enough rebounds. We had chances, but we were shooting straight at the goalkeeper. In the second half we changed that, with a squeak, but it got better.”

“We have a lot of players with no game rhythm. We will play a lot at 11-on-11 in training.” 

Villa played with a youth squad because of an outbreak of coronavirus in the team.
