Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has made his remarks following the 2-3 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup 4th round.
“There were a lot of good things; there were some mistakes at the goal. If you want to win here, you have to show the highest level and we didn’t do that,” Klopp said to BBC.
“We can learn something from this game; we try to learn lessons from every match. It was a good match for Salah, it’s important for his confidence.”
“It was a difficult game. We really wanted to win, but today it was not enough. Both when you win and when you lose you notice shortcomings, but today the boys really, really wanted to win.”
“We had problems on the counter-attack, it was tense. But there were good things in the match.”
