In Sunday’s Champions League final Bayern won against PSG (1: 0), and Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp commented on their win.
Klopp won the title in 2011 and 2012 after fighting with Borussia against Bayern in the Bundesliga from 2008 to 2015.
“It’s hard for anyone to write as much history in just eight months as Bayern did. Admittedly, they were very lucky because in this chaos with the Bundesliga coronavirus they had the best schedule, ie Bayern had optimal time to prepare. But that doesn’t change the fact that Bayern is a brilliant team,” said Klopp, adding:
“They have sensational players in all positions and, more importantly, in their best years. I’m sure there are some teams in the Premiership that would beat them, but I’m sure Bayern would have a great chance to go all the way even if we or City were in the final”, said Klopp.
