Karim Benzema: Ballon d’Or makes me crazy, I think about it all the time

Karim Benzema, Real Madrid star confessed that he thinks about winning the Ballon d’Or “all the time” but it’s not an obsession for him.

Asked about winning the gong on his YouTube channel, he said: “Yeah, all the time, from my childhood, but this isn’t something that makes me crazy. If you’re a skilled player and when you’re competitive you always dream about the Ballon d’Or.”

“By my playing position, I never want to describe myself as number nine or not number nine, as 10 or 11; I’m a football player and I’m aiming to be the best player in the world.”
