K-League has sanctioned FC Seoul for $81,500

FC Seoul filled the stadium with sex dolls during Sunday’s home match, the K-League has sanctioned for $81,500.

At current, games have been started without any presence of Fans as after the coronavirus pandemic, the Korean top-flight is back and operating.

To offer a sort of atmosphere, FC Seoul filled the stands with mannequins trying to fix the emptiness, during Sunday’s match against Gwangju.

“The disciplinary committee decided to take heavy disciplinary action, taking into account the seriousness of the incident caused by the ‘real doll,’ which insulted and hurt female and family fans and prevent similar incidents from happening.” the K-League said in a statement.

FC Seoul has also apologized for the mix-up, naming it an “inexcusable mistake”.
