Juve wished Buffon “Happy birthday, Superman” as he turned 43

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon celebrated his 43rd birthday.

“Happy birthday, Superman!,” the Turin press office tweeted.

“Happy birthday, super Gigi! You have always been a role model. So far your tenacity and desire to never give up is an example for everyone,” Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma said for Tuttosport.

“I also want to join in congratulating Gigi. His play in goal has been an inspiration to many of us who started in professional football. Over the years, as a colleague and competitor, I continued to follow and admire him. Years later, I still remember his outstanding saves. Happy birthday, Gigi,” congratulated Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
