The Juventus coach, Max Allegri is in the news for all the wrong reasons, as his ex-girlfriend and her daughter accused him of cheating on them and then ghosting them, with taking the situation on national television. The 54-year-old may not appear so, but having dumped one woman only weeks before their wedding and then split up with another after she became pregnant he already has a reputation as Italian football’s playboy manager.
He had been seeing Ambra Angiolini, a 44-year-old television presenter, actress, and singer, since 2017. However, she told the television show Striscia La Notizia that not only had their relationship ended but that Allegri was basically ghosting her, refusing to communicate with her, and simply disappearing.
When handed the Tapiro d’Oro, a comedy award given to anyone having a bad time in the news, she joked: “At least he’ll come into my house in Milan…” Jolanda Renga, Ambra’s daughter from a previous relationship, went into much more detail and openly accused Allegri in an Instagram post.
“Why go to her in Milan with the Tapiro d’Oro? Why not go to Turin? Because she trusted someone with whom she shared four years of her life?! Even if this person, in the end, proved to be different, is it the fault of the one who trusts or the one who betrays that trust, and betrays in every possible sense?”
“What is so reproachable or ‘loser’ like about trusting and loving?” The word ‘betrays’ was used in the same way it is used in Italian to describe someone who is cheating on their lover. Considering his record with women, Calciomercato.com pointed out: “There’s only one Lady Allegri is faithful to and it’s Juve.”
