“I used just three against Cagliari,” says Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric and has confirmed that he does not like the five replacements on offer during Serie A run-in.
Eight-placed Gialloblu resumed with three points in the 2-1 win against Cagliari at the Bentegodi, but the coach did not use all five changes at hand say Football Italia.
“Against Cagliari, I only used three,” Juric said at a press conference. “I don’t like them, they don’t excite me much, even if they can be of help.”
“You change half the team, then obviously if you have a fantastic squad, the game changes.”
“There are certain roles in which, if they convince me during the match, I prefer not to tamper with.”
A win would see Verona’s rivals leapfrog at sixth, as the club is continuing with another home game tonight against Napoli.
