Liverpool player Georginio Wijnaldum will be open to talks from January onwards with other clubs, but his management has not given up hope of a contract extension.
On a new Liverpool deal, Jurgen Klopp is also confident that Georginio Wijnaldum would put pen to paper.
However, Klopp revealed that he did not give up on the thought of holding the player at Anfield after seeing the former PSV midfielder score a lovely curler as Liverpool run out 4-0 winners against Wolves on Sunday.
Asked about that prospect, the German told Amazon Prime Sport: “I hope so, to be honest.”
“You can see that he plays all the time, he plays pretty long when he’s on the pitch, all this kind of stuff. We have a very good relationship. I hope so.”
