Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has made his remark on the sacking of Frank Lampard from Chelsea.
“I will not give Tuchel any public advice. There is no need for them,” quotes Klopp Team Talk.
“Lampard has lost his job. I have to say it’s a difficult moment. In my opinion, Chelsea did a great job in the transfer market, the team needed time. It is normal. To make such a decision so early is cruel.”
“Mr Abramovich gives chances but he is not the most patient man in the world. I feel sorry for Frank as this is his club.”
“Tuchel is a great coach, I respect him a lot. This Chelsea squad is a real gift, isn’t it? Pretty sure Thomas thinks so. They will be fine.”
“How many coaches have Chelsea changed in the last 10 years? Either you’re successful or you’re fired. That’s their mantra, there’s nothing you can do about it. I’ve been lucky with the clubs I’ve been at.”
“Frank will be fine. Decisions at Chelsea are made by people outside the football world. Football people would have seen a clear plan in the game that Chelsea showed last season. Frank might not want to hear that, but he’s done a lot of good things for a young coach. He’ll be back soon if he wants to. He will get more time.”
