RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann acknowledged PSG deserved to qualify for the Champions League final claiming they were Tuesday’s stronger side.
“The ticket for the PSG final is well deserved,” Nagelsmann told BT Sport, via Goal.
“We performed great for the first 10-12 minutes. PSG has too much quality and they were the stronger side at the end, but often that’s the way football is.”
“If we wanted to attack early we had to determine before the game. We had three to four successful moments in the first 10 minutes, then made two or three major mistakes.”
“When we conceded our players’ belief drained to the second goal. It became a question of character at the end and we played better in the second half.”
