Jose Mourinho on his Manchester United career: “I won what could be won”

At Manchester United, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho earned all he could under the conditions in which he had to work.

“The fans, they know I’ve given all I can,” Mourinho said to Sky Sports.

“I won what could be won; I didn’t win what couldn’t even be won. I gave it all, I gave the club my life and my professionalism, as I always do.”

“Internally, I met in the club lots of lifetime friends, lots of great people. I just have positive feelings, feelings I have to forget in 90 minutes because they want to win for 90 minutes, I want to win, that’s football.”
