Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his opinion on the club’s results in the EPL.
“Thank goodness I’m not the same coach I used to be. I don’t think I would have been so calm, so confident. You know I haven’t had many bad series throughout my career,” said Mourinho to ESPN.
“But current problems arise for every coach at any club, and I used to react to them much more emotionally. Instead of helping others and myself, I even created a kind of conflict situation.”
“I’ll give you an example: I left Chelsea as a champion. I was a champion and I left Chelsea.”
“More experienced people have a better chance to handle negative moments. I am calm, I control my emotions.”
“My nature has not changed. Of course, I am not happy when I lose, but experience helps me to cope with it. And I feel very confident. I believe that we will add to it, that I will go down in Tottenham’s history for good reasons and not for bad.”
