Jonathan Barnett: Gareth Bale’s career is coming to an end

Jonathan Barnett, the representative of Gareth Bale Tottenham midfielder, has commented about his client’s situation at the London club.

“His career is coming to an end. You should ask Mourinho [why Bale is not playing],” said the agent at the Financial Times and Business of Football event.

“When people ask what happened to Bale… He has won more trophies abroad than any other British footballer. Financially he is doing very well, he has provided for himself for the rest of his life.” 

Bale has won the Champions League four times with Real Madrid, who holds the rights to the player, won the Spanish championship twice, and won the National Cup once.
