This summer Javi Martinez who is former Spain international could leave Bayern Munich after playing eight seasons in Germany
The player could transfer on from the leaders of the Bundesliga League, claimed a German Media outlet, says El Mundo Deportivo citing a report from Kicker.
It is said that Martinez is unlikely to break Joshua Kimmich’s preferred midfield duo and Thiago Alcantara – Martinez’s fellow Spaniard – and may be seeking first-team football elsewhere in this stage of his career.
The player has clocked up 232 first-team appearances for Bayern, since his transfer from Athletic Club Bilbao in 2012 for €40 m. The 31-year-old was often injured in Bavaria
Martinez who is the most adept in a midfield holding role, but also in the defense center, will leave Munich in the summer of 2021, so they can decide this year to cash-in on the player.
