New line of football boots release of Nike has made Jadon Sancho’s dream come true.
The set of footwear and apparel for the Borussia Dortmund attacker is strongly inspired by his childhood in south-east London.
While on the tongue is written “# SE11 4 J@DON”, the term MEGZ-a reference to nutmeg-and “no ball games” appear as part of the logo.
He is incredibly pleased to get his own unique collection for the brand.
The twenty-year-old dedicates the new Nike boots to people in his area in London, Kennington.
“Making my own line with Nike is incredible, it’s just a dream come true,” said Sancho.
“It’s not just about me, it’s about all the ballers around London who have been told that they will never make it. I represent all of them every time I step out onto the pitch. It’s a privilege and an honor to have the London kids on my back and release a collection to which they can all relate.”
“We’ve been playing anywhere and everywhere, that’s just London’s atmosphere. What you wanted was a football. You’d always have the one man with a wonky foot that would break windows and get us all in trouble,” he added.
“Football is just a vibe, it gives you a feeling like no other and no matter how old you are, it never leaves you.”
