India will resume the 2022 World Cup in October

Goal reports, on October 8 India could resume its qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup.

While the last group stage game against Afghanistan would probably be played on November 17, India will then meet Bangladesh away from home on October 13, according to the provisional schedule worked out by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

FIFA is yet to rubber-stamp the fresh dates and the AFC expects formal certification. It should be noted that the final decision also depends, as applicable to each country, on the Coronavirus situation and the travel regulations.
