I’m very glad to be playing says Asensio on his return from injury

As Marco Asensio made a breathtaking return from injury, he was delighted with his hard work paid off in Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Valencia.

“I really wanted to come back. It’s been a lot of hard work for many months.” the midfielder told Movistar. 

“I’m very glad to be playing, scoring, and satisfied with winning the team.”

Asensio added on his goal: “Much thrill and satisfaction because there’s a lot of work behind it. I’m in the final stretch of the season.”
