The Italian League Serie A match against AC Milan and Udinese ended in a 1–1 (match result) draw on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s injury-time goal after a first-half loss. The draw may have reduced the points gap between AC Milan and Inter Milan in the points table, but AC Milan are still on top with 39 points.
With the decisive goal in this football match, Ibrahimovic has made a special achievement in his name. He has become the third footballer behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to score 300 goals in Europe’s top five leagues.
Earlier, Beto scored for Udinese with a shot from the center of the box in the 17th minute to give the team the lead. Udinese managed to hold the lead until the end, but Ibrahimovic scored in injury time to level the team. Meanwhile, Isaac Success of Udinese was shown a red card for violent conduct in injury time.
Ibrahimovic said of his longevity, “It’s the mentality. I train in the same way that I play. Every day is a final. It was difficult when I arrived at Milan [for his second spell], but we’ve created a group. We’ve created an atmosphere that is over the top. Then there was the pandemic, but the staff here is great. I’ve worked with other teams in my career, but this is really excellent.”
Ibrahimovic added, “The group goes towards the same target. Unfortunately, we didn’t win yesterday. I should have scored two goals. Now, I wake up with pain every day, but I have adrenaline and I go on. This year, the adrenaline is for the Scudetto. Yesterday I scored a goal, but we didn’t win and it hurts.”
