Heskey: Philippe Coutinho is still a “wizard”

Philippe Coutinho will receive an open arms welcome back to the club by Liverpool fans and despite his struggles in Barcelona, the Brazilian playmaker is still recognized as a “wizard” states Emile Heskey.

“What he did was quite phenomenal when he was with the Reds,” former Liverpool striker Heskey told Sky Sports.

“He’s a great player and everything good Liverpool did go through him at the time.”

“That’s how I think he’d be welcomed back at Liverpool with open arms and the fans would love to have him back-but do you get that same player back?”

“Generally you can ask any Liverpool supporter, they’d love to see Coutinho there and the wizard playing in the midfield.”
